Down in Africa

Mambo! So These are pictures from my orientation, we went to a town called Naivasha. The pictures aren't in order chronologically because i accidentally put them on here in the wrong order and cannot figure out how to switch them. But Orientation was so great, security talks, health talks, my first swahili lesson and a "drop off" where you have to go out alone and find your way back by asking people directions. It sound scary but one thing I have noticed is that Kenya's are extremely friendly (maybe because i am white....) and the boy that helped me walked me the entire way there. So here are some photos! Monkeys!!!!
A fisherman's camp where we did some team building excersizes. The lake is lake naivasha 1 of 2 freshwater lakes and a popular place for hippo watching.
More of the fisherman's camp. You can camp here.
A catholic church built by Italian POWS during WWII
Me and The Rift Valley! We stopped off to take pictures on our way to Naivasha
